　　There are many advantages for a student to have a part time job. For instance, it helps him to realize that no success comes from nothing. It enables him to be independent and builds up his self-confidence. Therefore, part-time jobs cans get the students out of the ivory tower and give them the opportunity to know more of himself and of his personal value in society.

　　Now many college students enthusiastically participate in community service, volunteer work and the westem aid service. There has been a discussion recently about whether this kind of action is helpful for cultivating the social responsibility of college students. People have different opinions about it. Some are in favor of it, while some take an opposite side.

　　As for me, it is helpful for the growth of the students and the cultivation of social responsibility. In the first place, it helps students understand what the needs of the country are.
